Andrew Raquet Bio

Andrew Raquet Interior Design is head quartered on the Upper Eastside of Manhatttan. Clients are drawn to Raquet’s commitment to reviving high-end, luxury design in an unpretentious, refreshed way.  There is a pedigree to Raquet’s work that blends old-school sensibility and highly customized design with a care-free spirit.

By way of background, Raquet attended Deerfield Academy before earning a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.  He has also studied at Parsons School of Design and at the Sotheby’s School in London. 

A favorite on the showhouse circuit, Raquet designed rooms for the French (American Hospital of Paris Foundation International Designer Foundation) Designer Showhouse in 2003 and 2005.  He was invited by the Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse to complete a room in 2004 and has served on their venerable Designer’s Committee since.  Raquet’s work has been published in HOUSE BEAUTIFUL, THE NEW YORK TIMES, and QUEST. In 2005 Raquet became a Design Consultant to BAMBOO BAMBOO, the most well-regarded luxury home furnishings and gift shop in the Bahamas, with outposts in Nassau and Harbor Island.      

Currently Raquet is working on projects in Manhattan; Greenwich, CT; Houston TX; Nassau, Bahamas; and Oslo, Norway.  Clients appreciate knowing that when they hire Raquet, they get Raquet.  Nothing is handed off and the end result is a home that reflects incredible thought, care, and attention to detail.
